Nathalie Vleeschouwer is moving the brand store in Ghent to a new location that is eight times larger than the previous location.
The complete universe of the Belgian designer can now be found at Onderbergen 78.
The lifestyle brand that launched its first collection in 2011 is rapidly opening new stores. After opening its own store in Hasselt within the walls of La Bottega in March, completely new interiors in the brand stores of Antwerp and Knokke in recent years, it is now Ghent's turn.
Nathalie Vleeschouwer: 'We were very attached to the location on Onderbergen, but the surface area had become much too small. When the mansion of the former interior design shop further down the street became available, we didn't hesitate. The renovation of two floors became a tour de force, but we are incredibly proud.'
Since April 2, you can find the entire universe of women, men, lifestyle and accessories on approximately 500m2 of retail space. The two floors in the historic building were completely renovated. The interior design and execution was again entirely realized by the in-house team, with husband Jan Bevernage as interior architect. Marble, wood, mirrors, brushed metallics and vintage gems determine the atmospheric new look and form a harmonious symbiosis with the authentic interior elements of the mansion. Just like in the other renovated brand stores, the unique design of the monumental cabinet behind the counter is also a real eye-catcher here. This time it is not made in wooden bas-relief, but conceived as a large action painting on canvas, inspired by the work of the Belgian artist Bram Bogart.
Unlike the other brand stores, the men's collection is housed in a completely separate space for the first time. This line has been significantly expanded and comes into its own in Ghent in an atmospheric space on the first floor. Also on the first floor you will find a striking yellow salon, with a beautiful view of the city centre as the icing on the cake.
